I decided to pursue my dream of being a full-time wedding photographer in 2014. Using my creative background, my very first wedding album in 2014 was a finalist for the International Wedding Album of The Year.

My work has been featured by Nikon, Style Me Pretty, Brides, and more. I have been commissioned for events by publications such as Esquire, Harpers Bazaar, Country Living, 1941, and much more.

Abul Moroccan Wedding Photographer Child photo

Photography has taught me more about the world and the joy in it than any book I've read (and I've read quite a few). When I take photos I look through my camera with a childlike sense of wonder, love, and even responsibility to capture and do justice what I see. I have a process, and I love it.

Every time I lift I my camera to capture a moment, I have two things in mind. The first is capturing emotion, which I do by applying compassion and empathy. The second thing I do is I look to beautiful all I see, with a sense of gratitude and wonder. I am a dreamer.

Moroccan and UK Wedding Photographer Abul

My little girl was born in 2010. Her name is Halima, which comes from the root word 'Hal-im' that means 'patience' and 'perseverance' in Arabic. It is my daughter that became the spark, to help me embrace my creativity. I photographed her every day, wanting to cherish every moment as a father. Now, I share as both an educator and father.

“Our lives are richer for meeting Abul.”
