MY EXPERIENCE

What is
LUXURY?

Read my philosophy and discover the reverence, care and craftsmanship that shape the way I photograph luxury destination weddings.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

care that had gone into every detail, styled by the wedding planner in collaboration with the vision of the bride and groom. From the welcome dinner to the farewell pool party, it was a love letter to their family and friends in celebration of their union. It was then that I learned to see weddings differently, and with that, my experience evolved.  The rolling hills of Tuscany, the chateaus in Provence down towards the south of France, Castle Coombe in the Cotswolds, and the Moorish minimalistic architecture of Marrakech. I have been blessed and commissioned to photograph weddings all over the world. Every venue and city is a beautiful backdrop, a canvas to an artist and photographer. No two weddings are ever the same. But at its heart, It's not the watches, it isn't the couture, nor is it the money that makes these events luxurious. It is the reverence, care, and art.  It's craftsmanship that is the heart of what makes anything luxury.

By then I had won a few industry awards and was a nominee for Rangefinder's Top 30 Rising Stars award (considered highly honourable in the international photography community) two years in a row. I drew inspiration from my peers but was still trying to find my voice in the world of wedding photography. Something that had been eluding me on my quest to refine my craft and make a name for myself.  But it was this very moment that became the spark to change my business, and something deeper within myself. It changed... everything.
It wasn't the luxurious details, the intricate styling of the reception, the Tom Ford suits, or the size of the engagement ring that adorned Efi (the beautiful bride's) hand. It was the level of intention, love, and care that was given to the guests, the clearly well thought out itinery

It has been several years since I experienced my very first destination wedding. I felt like the metaphorical Alice in Wonderland. I arrived in Kythnos, Greece, working alongside the talented Adam Alex, an early mentor to and friend. I vividly recall the salty air and the much-welcomed cool breeze as we stepped
